Closed Until Further Notice
Due to the pandemic and in compliance with the State of Michigan Executive Order, Amy Prior Massage Therapy is CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
I will reopen once Governor Whitmer deems it safe to re-open. Thank you for your understanding. Until then, please continue to follow CDC guidelines on staying safe.
Massage isn't just for pampering yourself. Massage therapy can be as effective in improving your health and treating chronic pain as physical therapy.
Get rid of your chronic muscle pain. Stop that annoying tension headache. Release that knot between your shoulders. Loosen that stiff neck. Ease your sore muscles!

Ann Arbor Massage
I believe that good massage therapy combined with chiropractic or physical
therapy treatments can help maintain proper body alignment and keep you in better health
than just one or the other alone. It's because the body's skeletal system and musculature
are influenced by each other. If you adjust the body's structure, but not the tight
muscles around it, then those muscles will pull the spine out of alignment again.
My clients are my top priority. I work with you to help you get rid of your pain.
My primary goal is to attack trigger points--tight areas in muscles that cause pain and may
refer pain to other areas of the body--and keep the pain from coming back.
I practice a combination of different massage therapies including:
- Myofascial Therapy (Deep Tissue)
- Neuromuscular Therapy (Deep Tissue)
- Swedish Massage (Relaxation)
- Sports Massage
- Chair Massage
